We built the tool we wished we had. Now it's yours.
Receiptflow is receipt and expense management software built for accounting firms and bookkeeping practices by a PwC-trained accountant who ran his own practice for over a decade. See how it works.
Founder and CEO, Receiptflow
I'm a PwC-trained, CIPFA-qualified accountant who spent over a decade running my own accounting practice before building Receiptflow. I know the problem because I lived it.
I founded and ran ATS Accountants for 11 years, building it from the ground up before selling in 2024. In all that time, receipt admin never got easier. It kept eating into hours that should have gone on actual accounting work: advisory, planning, the things clients pay for.
After the sale, I built the tool I'd always wished I had. Receiptflow automates receipt data extraction instantly and accurately. Supplier, date, VAT, totals. No typing, no chasing, no manual input. Read more on the blog.
I remember sitting at my desk on a Friday afternoon, still chasing a client for receipts I needed to close their accounts. It was 6pm. That was the moment I decided I'd fix it.
"Your time is billable. Receipt admin isn't."
Less admin. More accounting.
See what changes when your accounting practice switches from manual receipt processing to Receiptflow.
Manual work
The old way costs your accounting practice time, accuracy, and the headroom to grow.
- Chasing clients for missing receipts
- Manual data entry for every document
- Month-end backlogs eating into billable time
- Inconsistent records across client files
- Hours lost to admin instead of advisory work
Receiptflow
One dashboard, accurate extraction, and audit-trail-ready records for every client.
- Receipts captured automatically from email or upload
- Receipt data extracted at over 99% accuracy
- Every client HMRC-ready and aligned with Making Tax Digital
- Connects with Xero, QuickBooks and Sage
- Full audit trail as standard across all clients
Built from the inside, for practices like yours
Receiptflow wasn't built by a tech team who read about the problem. It was built by someone who spent a career on the other side of it.
A problem lived firsthand
CIPFA-qualified. PwC-trained. Over 11 years running a UK accounting practice. Receiptflow is what happens when the person who builds the tool has spent a career on the other side of it.
Built for UK accounting practices
Whether you run a firm of two or fifty, Receiptflow gives you one dashboard for every client's receipts, reports, and expense workflows. HMRC-ready, Making Tax Digital aligned, and built around how practices actually work.
Shaped by real feedback
Every product decision comes from the accountants and bookkeepers using Receiptflow every day. Not a roadmap written in a vacuum. If something isn't working for your firm, we want to know.
What we believe about good software
Four things that shape every decision at Receiptflow, from how the product works to how it's priced.
Get it right, every time
For accounting practices where compliance is front of mind, accuracy isn't optional. Receiptflow extracts supplier, date, total, VAT, and currency from every receipt. Every field is reviewable before it goes anywhere near a client record.
Simple by design
Onboarding takes minutes. Your team is managing client documents the same day. We've taken out every step that doesn't need to be there, because wasted time in a process is a cost that shows up on your team, not on your software invoice.
Pricing that grows with you
No bloated tiers. No per-receipt charges. No pricing structure that makes practice growth feel like a penalty. View our pricing and see how Receiptflow scales with your firm in a way that feels fair.
Built on honest feedback
Receiptflow is shaped by the accounting firms and bookkeeping practices using it every day. The product was built on genuine feedback from real practices and will keep being built the same way.
